PAPER PARTS

We can supply you with various paper parts to go with what ever packaging you require.

From single sided front cover card inserts to a full 8-page booklets to printed cardboard sleeves.

Depending on your requirements paper parts can be digitally printed or litho printed.

Digital Printing

When digital printing, you have the option of 250gsm Card, 170gsm Silk Paper and 130gs Silk Paper. The thicker the paper or card stock, the more expensive.

Digital printing starts with runs of 50 or more. Any less and the paper parts are laser printed.

Litho Printing

For litho printing, we use 150gsm silk. Litho printing becomes cost effective if you are ordering 500+.

SPECIAL PACKAGING

We have some special packaging options if you are tired of the standard ones!

Rubber Stamp

We can create a customised rubber stamp up tp 12 x 12cm. This can then be used on White Cardboard Sleeves or Hand Sewn Wallets.

Because there are stamped by hand, no 2 covers will be 100% the same. Slight variations will occur due to the transfer of ink and the allignment of of the stamp. However, we think that is what makes it so nice! Obviously, if half the design failed to transfer, that one is considered a dud and another cover stamped.

LITHO PRINT OR DIGITAL PRINT?

Digital and Litho Printing in Birmingham There are 2 main considerations on whether digital or litho printing is the right choice for your product:
  1. Quantity required
  2. Timescale
Quantities

Litho printing runs start at 500 and at this quantity it is more cost effective than 500 digital prints.

For anything less than 500, digital will often be the cheaper option.

Timescale

Depending on the thickness and type of paper used, digital printing can be done as quick as 1-2 days (sometimes same day), certain papers will tend to be more like 4-5 days.

Litho printing lead times tend to be about 7-8 days.
